Seven Hills Red Wine 2014 |
We introduce our Walla Walla Valley Red Wine with this innaugural 2014 vintage. Blended to express the variety of terroir in the Walla Walla Valley appellation, it boasts inviting aromas of sweet red and black fruit, hints of fresh herb and roasted coffee and enchanting, sweet spice. Ripe, warm fruit flavors are at the forefront of the palate, supported by fine-grained tannins and a balanced finish of fruit and structure.
The inaugural release of this wine is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot, coming from Summit View, Pepper Bridge, Cockburn, McClellan Estate, Stone Valley, Seven Hills, Waliser Rocks and Fire Ridge vineyards. Green herb, black fruit, coffee and anise aromas give way to beautifully balanced red- and black-fruit flavors. The acidity brings a sense of vibrancy, while the tannins provide plenty of structure.
