Elouan Pinot Noir, Oregon 2021 |
92 Points - Tasting Panel
A buoyant, lightweight palate shows round, plump plum and cherry notes against a backdrop of tobacco and clove. Juicy, with deep, earthy undertones and an uplifting splash of rhubarb, this is a vivid and graceful red. A hint of smoked charcuterie leaves a touch of spice on the finish.
Harmonious and elegant on the palate with flavors, of rich red plum, bright cherry, subtle earthiness and a hint of sweet tobacco, creating complex layers with soft, refined tannins.

Finger in Ear.
If you are not drinking this wine with your finger in your ear you are doing it wrong. Great wine hard to find, pairs well with steak, and pasta.

Smooth and uncomplicated
So impressed with the customer service at Wine Chateau. I asked customer service to suggest a Pinot Noir that was low in tannins and fruit forward and the Elouan above was their recommendation. It was an excellent choice. We love it. The shipping was fast and so efficient especially during the Covid delay issues.

Oregon Pinot
A beautiful Oregon Pinot which holds its own with all the oregon well known and costlier Pinot’s. You wont regret this one.

Lived up to the hype!
A Pinot Noir with a hefty 90+ point rating and enticing commentary is hard to find. I was a bit skeptical, but the Elouan exceeded both the rating and the commentary. This wine was excellent and versatile as it matched up greatly with beef and chicken dishes. I will definitely purchase this wine again.
