DESCRIPTION

Scarlett is the McGah family's estate Cabernet from the Rutherford AVA, in the heart of Napa Valley. The 2021 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, all estate-grown, selected from three different blocks of their vineyard.

It shows classic Rutherford character: cherries and black cherries, the dusty note the area is known for, and a touch of toasted spice. It's medium to full-bodied, juicy and fresh, with supple tannins and a long finish. For a Rutherford Cab, the price is very fair.

Open it 30 minutes before dinner and serve at cool room temperature, around 60-65F, in a large red wine glass. It's made for steak, lamb chops or a mushroom risotto. Drink it now or keep it a few years. A smart pick for anyone who loves Napa Cabernet and likes finding producers beyond the big names.

This is one of my favorite Cabs of 2019
The two cases clearly where not stored correctly
So far 7 different corks where very dry and hard to remove ( crumbled) had to push some in.
Wine was less then the good taste I know it can have
High quality wines must be stored in climate controlled environments
