Currently, we do not ship via express shipping.
If you request a cancellation or a refund for an order that has not shipped or ready to ship that consists of any special ordered items, there will be a charge of 25% restocking fee as those special items are non-returnable to our suppliers. Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable unless a wrong item is sent to you.
Refunds & Credits
Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable unless a wrong item is sent to you.
Title & Ownership
Since vendors own all of the inventory listed online and therefore arrange for transportation of the wine & spirits, vendor is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from vendor, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine or spirits. By placing an order with vendor, purchaser authorizes vendor to act on buyer’s behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver buyer’s order. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained all required permissions, paid all required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries, is legally entitled to take possession of wine & spirits, is legally entitled to take quantities ordered, and authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age or older. Vendor makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import alcoholic beverages into any state outside of New Jersey.
In most cases all our products and inventory are updated. However, from time to time vintages change fast. We reserve the right to update the vintage to the newest vintage for any wines that are valued less than $20.
It is the Customer's responsibility to be present at the time of delivery for an adult signature. If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. Whenever possible, we encourage you to use a commercial business address to assure the fastest delivery time. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to Wine Chateau. The Customer will be required to incur the cost of shipping and handling, regardless of the Customer deciding to cancel the order.
Domestic State Restrictions
Please refer to your state and local laws as we do not ship to many states in the United States. We use a combination of UPS & FedEx to deliver all packages. Shipping Carrier does NOT ship to P.O. Boxes, but do ship to all residential and business addresses.
The map below will show you the transit times during shipment. Please keep in mind that there is an order processing period during non-holidays times of 1 - 3 business days. Once the order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number to your email address and the map below will show you the number of transit days during shipment.
