DESCRIPTION
The 2018 Meursault Les Pierres Seches actually comes mainly from Les Tillets (it was previously "Les Pierres" but that was deemed too close in sound to "Les Perrières"!) There are five barrels, of which one is new. The nose offers attractive orange peel, white peach and honeysuckle scents, restrained at first but gaining intensity with aeration.
The palate is fresh and taut on the entry, not overly complex but with a tangible sense of energy and lovely pithy notes toward the finish.
