DESCRIPTION

A pure expression of Carmenère, this is a dark and hearty red wine that is dense and rich at its core. The 2015 Colli Berici Carmenere Riserva Oratorio di San Lorenzo offers intense notes of plummy black fruit with spicy contours of teriyaki or barbecue smoke. This is a thick and bold red to pair with a T-bone steak. 

Very attractive carmenere with crushed-berry and orange-peel aromas and hints of wood. Medium body. Crisp finish.

The grapes, very ripe, generate an intense and persistent flavor. Thick nose of concentrated small dark berries, cocoa, pepper and other spices. Authoritative on the palate, of great phenolic maturity, soft and round but of good freshness.
