A rich, minerally style, with notes of dried savory herbs to the freshly cut apple and green pear flavors, showing hints of tangerine. A lemongrass accent emerges on the crisp finish.
Not surprisingly, in 2017 Dehlinger’s Chardonnay Estate is quite racy and luscious. Orchard fruit, citrus confit, and wild flowers take on an extra level of sheer richness, while tropical accents add to the real feeling of exoticism.
The 2017 Estate Chardonnay is barrel fermented with native yeast in just over one third new French oak, then aged on the lees and bottled unfiltered to optimize texture and flavor. Aromas of lemon custard and white peach, flavors of lime zest and toasted hazel nut. Excellent length, fresh, flavorful.
