Dark red colour in the glass. Decent amount of alcohol seen in the rings. Bouquet is oaky and intense- hints of raspberry. Quite acidic at first sip- lots of blackcurrant, mellows out fairly quickly to notes of prune and finishes with a touch of vanilla.
A nice pairing wine- try it with cheeses or spicy Chinese food to mix things up a bit. Clear, medium intensity, purple color, clean condition nose, medium intensity, dusty, rye bread, blueberry jam, tobacco box, dry, medium acidity, high tannins, medium body, blueberries, with white pepper finish, medium finish, very good one!
Elegant nose and balanced tannins during sip, bone dry and on border of unpleasant when swallowing.
