Deeply extracted cherry and bright cassis arrest the senses, holding captive on both the nose and the palate. Swiftly followed by red currant jam and black pepper, the supple mouthfeel fills out this full-bodied wine. Toasty coconut and spicy oak from the American oak heightens the dense fruit, and the wine finishes with stellar tannins softened by just a hint sweet pipe tobacco.
Dusty garnet color. Fruity aromas of raspberry jam, pomegranate cooler, magnolia, mulling spices, and cling peach with a slightly chewy, vibrant, fruity sweet medium body and a breezy cocoa powder, toasty cookies, candied raisin, and cream soda finish with moderate oak flavor. A fruit-forward cabernet for the table or sipping on its own.
Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that takes its own sweet time, slowly lingering to ripen on the vine. We are rewarded by its reluctance. Overwhelming cherry and vivid plums create a welcome first impression, while touches of green tea leaves and leather nestle themselves.
