DESCRIPTION
This wine is 100 percent de-stemmed as Thibault feels the high limestone content of the soil provides sufficient lift. The nose has some iodine notes, while the palate has plenty of red, Vosne fruit and a fascinating, savoury edge that Thibault compares to squid ink.
The chalky, silky tannins carry the wine on to a saline finish. Drink 2021-2027.
