There is silkiness and weight on the palate from the Viognier, but the finish is light and crisp from this beautiful selection of Chenin Blanc. A portion of this varietal was grown in Clarksburg, an arearenowned for nurturing California’s best Chenin Blanc, where warm daytime temperatures give way to evenings chilled by the cool Delta breezes. Our Viognier adds silky weight to the palate along with classic white peach flavors and a beautifully lifted perfume. As we looked at white blends, this Chenin Blanc-Viognier combination stood out as bestowing both elegance and purity
