it is a red wine. Fairly light on the nose, with soft dark fruit (plum, blackcurrant, black cherry) and spice coming through.
On the palate, more secondary characteristics were displayed: dark chocolate, dried fruit (prunes, raisins), roasted coffee, charred wood, smoke, plus hints of damp earth and geosmin.
