Saintsbury Pinot Noir 2018

A perfumed nose of rose petals, dark cherry, rhubarb and wild strawberry with white pepper and cinnamon spice notes. Lovely fresh rose, cherry, plum, and cola on the palate with hints of five-spice and cardamom. Smooth, silky tannins with a long succulent finish.

Dried cherry and berry flavors dominate this fleshy version. Savory spice notes emerge midpalate, with a finish of dried meat and underbrush.

Medium-weight, complex and spicy, offering lively raspberry and dusty earth flavors and grainy tannins that provide substance and depth. Ends with lightly chewy tannins.
