Renacer Cabernet Sauvignon Single Vineyard Punto Final 2014

Punto Final, meaning “final period” or “full stop,” symbolizes the point at which the Bodega Renacer winemaking team has accomplished their common goal: a truly outstanding wine.

Punto Final Cabernet Sauvignon is handcrafted with grapes from a selected block in Renacer's low-yielding estate vineyard in Perdriel, a subregion of Luján de Cuyo. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and then sees a year of French oak that provides added complexity.

Tasting Notes

This Cabernet is a bright ruby red in color and has aromas of blackberries and cassis with spicy notes of green peppercorns and eucalyptus. On the palate, notes of vanilla and sweet spice from the oak aging underscore flavors of juicy black cherries and plums. Overall, the wine is elegant with a lingering finish and a bright acidity.
