Tenute Al Bano Carrisi
PLATONE SALENTO ROSSO 2012 750ML is a wine made from Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes, produced from prestigious 75-year-old vines. Harvesting takes place approximately 15 days later than the normal season, which gives the grapes the opportunity to reach higher maturity.
The wine obtained after fermentation in steel silos is aged for about eight months in the barrique. It has an intense red color with purple reflections.
A complex complex aroma with notes of berry jam, coffee beans, cinnamon and pepper. The taste is expressive, full-bodied, with juicy tannins and a hint of chocolate in the finish. Grapes: 50% Primitivo 50% Negroamaro. Obtained from grapes produced from prestigious 75-year-old vines. Aging in Barrique. Intense red color, scent of coffee plum jam and chocolate. Enveloping and dry taste. Excellent with roasts, game and aged cheeses.
