Excellent Brunello from a small winery in the heart of Montalcino. We had a great time with amazing food and wine pairing. Med body and alcohol with balance tannins. To the palate, cherries, oak, vanilla, and spices.
Appearance: ruby red, medium intense, clear. Nose: developing, medium intense, clean condition. Aromas of red fruit, cassis, strawberry, vanilla, liquorice, leather, mushroom. Palate: dry, medium intense, medium (+) acidity, medium (+) body, medium tannins, medium (+) finish. Assessment: outstanding wine. Potential for aging.
