Perrier-Jouet Champagne Belle Epoque 2011 |
The celebrated champagne house of Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 by Pierre Nicholas Marie Perrier and his wife Adele Jouët.
Cuvée Belle Epoque is a delightful, gentle wine with all the qualities of a great Champagne. Offering finesse and elegance rather than powerful fruit, it is well-defined, crisp and vivacious and possesses impeccable balance. The magnificent bottle, with its Emile Gallé floral décor, is part of its attraction, and compliments the light gold and fine, vibrant bubbles of this Champagne.
Aromas of white fruits - lemon, white peach, pear and grapefruit - give way to hints of pineapple and fresh spring flowers.
A beautiful pale yellow, clear with hints of green and a lively mousse. The attack is lively, with a marked minerality that feels both elegant yet rounded. Sensual and silky, harmonious and beautifully balanced, the flavors in this 2011 Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque mingle to leave a long, fine finish.
