TASTING NOTES

Ruby red with garnet nail color. It opens to the nose on tones of dark ripe fruit, followed by spicy notes and hints of vanilla. The sip is dry and aromatic, with elegant tannins but still quite decisive. Long persistence.

Leather and violets and seduction on the nose and palate of this robust northern Italian red wine. Full-bodied but subtle with an endless finish. Juicy and giving and complex. One of the best brunellos I've tasted in a long time.

PAIRINGS

Requires meat, game and game dishes. Grilled steak, roast leg of lamb, hard cheese, veal piccata. Great with the roast goat.
