Great Sauvignon Blanc by Orin Swift. Light-medium bodied with aromas of grass, chalk, green apples and minerals. A long finish with thorough acidity carrying notes of mostly pear. 15.2% ABV but very nicely balanced. Paired well with soup, salad and a chicken salad sandwich. Cheers friends!

Blank Stare is a good name for this because it is a very confusing wine😹. Upon opening the nose is more savory with grassy, herbal, vegetal notes with some minerals for good measure. As it warms however tree fruit and butterscotch surface. Dry with LONG legs at 15.2 ABV, still nicely balanced. Fresh acidity throughout keeps you sipping. White peach and pear grace the attack with some creamy citrus notes midway usher you to a long graphite finish. I like the complexity and uniqueness.
