The fruit is destemmed and slowly fermented, with a gentle extraction, yet there is a slightly rustic, old school charm to this wine and an almost sauvage edge to it on the nose.
On the palate, the wine is tannic and firm, but satisfyingly mouth-filling and long. From purchased fruit sourced from this south-east facing site at the southern end of Nuits.
