DESCRIPTION

Pretty crimson color, with subtle yet ripe red fruit on the nose. Lightly spiced and long on the palate. Delicate and distinguished which brings out a mineral note, typical of our subsoil soil here in Cote de Brouilly.
Essentially, the 2007 Cote de Brouilly for the U.S. is the same as for other markets except that it is not filtered. An invigoratingly saline and tart edge to the abundant, pure black fruits is on display. Notes of black tea and wet stone add intrigue. There is a lovely textural polish and brightness to a finish that suggests almost a Riesling-like call and response of fruit and mineral. Enjoy this over the next 2-3 years.
