On the nose, Neroametà is fresh and vibrant with delicate aromas of crushed stone, wild strawberry and violets. The Aglianico grape's naturally high acidity pairs with the wine's plump mouthfeel to keep the profile racy and refreshing. A slight phenolic texture can be detected on the finish, which is refined and elegant.
Food Pairing
As a juicy, fragrant white wine, Neroametà has no shortage of suitable applications. However, this wine's slightly more robust structure (a trait that owes to its vinification from the black Aglianico grape) makes it the perfect white wine to accompany burley flavors of food cooked on the grill-- whether vegetarian, pescatarian, or carnivorous.
