Given its luxurious beginnings, Italy's Massolino Moscato d'Asti 2018 is as fine of a moscato as one can find. Growing from a extremely small plot of land (1.5 hectares), this Moscato is hand harvested from the calcareous soils of Serralunga d'Alba.
The wine that results is savoury and complex, not to mention extremely delicious. Bursting with frothy pineapple, sweet mint and tangy red apple on the nose, it rewards with a dry, chalky finish that leaves you wishing for just a bit more. Superb with desserts or with somewhat spicy and mature cheeses.
