Jean Chartron Meursault Les Pierres 2017

The 2017 Meursault "Les Pierres" comes from mainly Narvaux and Les Tillets and is aged in 25% new oak. Compared to Jean-Michel Chartron’s Saint-Aubins, this is more mild mannered with gorgeous scents of lime flower, orange zest and Mirabelle emerging with time.

The palate is very well balanced, quite refined and elegant in style with a fine bead of acidity, very harmonious with a touch of honey towards the subtle, rich finish that delivers a saline touch on the aftertaste. Drink over the next six or seven years, possibly longer.
