Concentrated blackberry, cherry and fresh ground coffee beans. Combines, intensity, freshness and real depth of aroma and flavour. Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot and a dash of Cabernet Franc. Matured for at least a year in French oak.
The second wine of Chateau Boyd Cantenac, this comes from the southern part of the Margaux vineyards. Wood aged and still showing tannins, the wine has richness and concentrated black fruits. It's elegant, with a finely formed aftertaste.
