Vivid ruby core with a narrow purple rim. Elegant nose of small dark berries, cocoa and black pepper. Balanced, fresh palate, fruity and spicy, integrated tannins and length.

It has the depth of a Cab with the softness of a Merlot and the peppery notes of a Cab Franc. So it’s got all the things! It’s one hell of a food wine, and is affordable enough to wow your friends at a dinner party. Like really wow. This wine with a lean grilled steak or pasta with some legit beef ragu is a win win.

This is always an attractive carmenere and shows cherry liqueur, cranberry sauce and more subtle nuances of fresh herbs and licorice. Medium-bodied with a soft, velvety texture and a fruity finish.
