This wine is loaded with aromatics of grapefruit and lemon grass with a hint of lime zest in the background. Refreshing acidity and citrus notes lead into a racy mouth that boasts notes of fresh fig and jasmine. This is a great warm weather wine with ample acidity and will pair nicely with a wide variety of cuisines; my favorite pairing is with oysters on the half shell.
This wine strikes a great balance between freshness and concentration. It smells clean and minerally, tastes crisp at first like lemon and jicama but also concentrated and layered in notes of rich pear and fig.
