Hans Wirsching Iphofer Kalb Silvaner Dry 2017

Crisp Asian pear, tangerine and hazelnut are touched by smoke in this gorgeously textured but invigorating Silvaner. It's an elegant dry white with wide appeal and a long, crushed-mineral finish. Enjoy now–2028 to taste at peak, but it should hold further.

Mineral, sea and Fresno apple on the nose! Apple pineapple melon to taste! Dry with a mineral aftertaste. 

A single vineyard Silvaner from old vines in the grand cru Kalb vineyard.   The subtle fruitiness on the nose of this wine misleads you into expecting a light, fruity wine - not the case here.  This Silvaner is medium bodied and elegant with steely minera
