The 2016 Brut Blanc de Blancs opens in the glass with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and citrus zest framed by hints of pastry cream and fresh bread that's less overtly autolytic in profile than its 2015 counterpart.
This is a really impressive wine with taut citrus aromatics and just a hint of bread and toast. The palate has keen acidity nicely offset by some sweetness, and combining the lively citrus fruit with some subtle apricot and mandarin. There’s good concentration and a long, juicy finish.
