Very aromatic and fragrant. Focused and fresh, with candied pear and long finish. Gains 1/2 exrta ☆ for its minty freshness that distinguish it from its similars. Green apple, some peach and fresh herbs. Lovely acidity. Med body.
Enjoyed with paccheri with prawn carbonara. Made from 100% Ribolla Gialla grown on the southwest slopes of Mount Calvario, the 2016 Ribolla Gialla is another terrific white from this estate. White flowers, stone fruits, citrus peel, and ample minerality all emerge from this medium-bodied, fresh, elegant, gorgeously pure white that offers incredible character.
