Girard Chardonnay 2015
Rich and creamy. Pear, citrusy with a touch of orange. Aromas of apple and vanilla. Light oak and a medium plus creamy finish.
Really nice balanced Chardonnay at a good price point ... pear, some apple tartness ... hint of butter and oak ... very nice. Good straightforward everyday drinking Chardonnay, not oaky and smooth.
This lovely Chardonnay is barrel fermented and aged Sur Lies, so from the first wonderful sniff you can tell it's rich, smooth and full of flavour potential. Little bit of oak, with mouthfuls of lemon, melon and peaches. Good price point, if you spot it give it a whirl.
