This is creamy, with an opulent texture wrapping the peach, apple, lemon cake, spice and mineral flavors. Unfolds with care, extending the finish and leaving a long aftertaste of lemon, butterscotch and spice.
Very nice, approachable, riper, sort of in-your-face Chassagne without the finesse/complexity of Puligny. Should stand up to a lot of dishes, like it did tonight with pot-stickers, and perfect with goat cheese for dessert.
