this Premier Cru Vineyard is located on the top of the slope, between 320 and 370 meters and it overlooks the Grands Crus vineyards of Chevalier Montrachet and Le Montrachet. This Premier Cru borders Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Le Champ Gain. This is a very good sector above the Grands Crus area of Puligny and Chassagne. The name of Saint-Aubin comes from a church built in this village whose patron was Saint Aubin. “Les Murgers des Dents de Chien” refers to the “murgers” which are little walls built with the stones extracted from the parcels to grow vines. “Les Dents de Chien” took its origin in the numerous white and triangular stones, that resemble dog’s teeth, that you find in the parcels (translation of dents de chien).
