The Feudo Maccari Sicilia Syrah Mahâris offers toasted notes of almond husk and Spanish cedar in front of dark fruit, sweet blackberry pie and black spice. This is a masculine and powerful wine that delivers ample muscle and brawn. It presents a thick and chewy structure with loads of dark, plump fruit that should carry it forward over the next five to ten years.

Violet and spice notes accent the ripe blackberry and wild strawberry fruit in this creamy, expressive red, which marries supple tannins with a silky texture and a rich, minerally underpinning that lingers on the finish.

This Syrah opens with black-skinned fruit, tilled soil and cooking spice aromas. It's soft and dense on the palate, offering ripe black currant, vanilla and black pepper flavors hemmed in with velvety tannins.
