Sitting just below Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru, this is a favourite lieu dit amongst vignerons. Bright straw yellow colour, there is both ripe pineapple and hints of citrus lime that blend well with the earthy texture of classic Chassagne Montrachet.
Subtle, pure aromas of white peach and white flowers. Supple, dry wine with pear and lemon zest flavors supported by firm acidity. More about power than refinement, though, and in need of a bit more mid-palate stuffing to support its alcohol.
