Etienne Sauzet Bourgogne Blanc 2017

Here’s a Bourgogne blanc with the structure and depth of flavor to age. It’s fresh and clean, a musky chardonnay with peach and chamomile flavors integrated into the nutty lees. Full, bright and lasting, this is estate grown at a parcel just outside Puligny-Montrachet villages—and it would be impressive at a village level.

Offering up aromas of fresh peach, grapefruit, wheat toast and nutmeg, Sauzet's 2017 Bourgogne Blanc is medium-bodied, satiny-textured and open-knit, with ripe acids, moderate concentration and a stony finish.
