Eponymous Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Held to the light, this elegant wine shimmers with a stunning deep purple-inky color that announces the intensity of the grapes. The wine immediately pleases with good complexity and intensity of bright fruit characters in the nose.

On the palate, the flavors follow the aromas with ripe blackberries, spice, cassis, and toasty rosemary. The palate has classic Napa structure and grip with more than ample, but supple tannins and is nicely balanced by fruit and a rich earthiness, with a long, lingering, and rich finish. 

Reduced, with a strong element of char to the oak, this 100% varietal wine is inky and dark, with a thick, tannic character that holds tenaciously on to the palate. A sweetness of cherry, vanilla and cocoa powder clings to the dense, concentrated palate.
