Mango, muskmelon and white peach reveal a much riper fruit spectrum than that displayed by the corresponding Kabinett, and one to which this wine’s more prominent sweetness is well-suited. Creamy in feel yet refreshingly juicy, this finishes with at once soothing and stimulating length, a tingle of peach fuzz and crushed stone serving for delightful counterpoint. (Vinous).
This wine is from Germany, Mosel-saar-ruwer region, Saar sub-region and Ockfen appellation. Fresh apple laced with vanilla evokes Wehlener Sonnenuhr. Impeccably judged sweetness enhances a luscious, light palate impression. An infectiously juicy finish.
