From the Clos des Capucins, the 2017 Alsace Gewurztraminer Cuvée Théo is clear, fresh and flinty on the nose. Rich, intense and structured on the palate, this is a powerful, dense and pretty persistent Gewurtz that was harvested around mid-October.
Overtly aromatic, with Gewürztraminer's textbook rose petal, lychee and ground spice notes. The Domaine Weinbach Gewurztraminer Cuvee Theo's refined acidity and texture impart a sense of overall finesse, while the palate delivers flavors of poached quince, smoky mineral and crystallized honey.
