Domaine Tawse Savigny-Les-Beaune Les Vergelesses 2016

The 2016 Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru Vergelesses Blanc was picked early according to Mark Fincham. It has a clean and fresh, pretty bouquet with green apples, pear and light dried honey aromas. The palate is fresh and crisp with fine acidity, lively and linear with a slight saline finish that has commendable bite and tension. This is a great wine considering the growing season.

Great acidity with hints of honey when coming to room temperature. Nice with seafood and we had it as an aperitif prior to pork and went well.
