The Beaune Clos du Roy – coming from a 1er cru in the northern part of Beaune – and from the original Clos surrounded by the original stony wall right at the bottom of the Marconnet vineyard.
It’s more robust fruit wise with fresh and pretty red and dark fruits. On the palate rather big and juicy – classic Beaune with a rich juicy fruit. A lovely year for Beaune.
