Domaine le Sang des Cailloux Vacqueyras 2015

Very dark purple color with a strong spicy nose, notes of black pepper on the palate with a strong tannic structure and black fruit aromas.

Really really funky. Which is almost a great thing, but honestly the nose is so strong in the cat pee/poop zone that we enjoyed it more without inhaling first. Still, the velvety mouthfeel and complex taste were worthwhile. 

One of best Vacqueyras as I know, different style from de tours. Red cherry aroma and lots of complex bouquet. Powerful but not many tannin, elegant at the finish.
