Domaine La Roquete Chateauneuf-Du-Pape Blanc Clos La Roquete 2017

Not to be overlooked are the white wines from the estate. The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos La Roquete comes from a three-hectare plot divided equally among Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Roussanne.

The grapes undergo fermentation using indigenous yeasts in oak vessels of varying sizes, no more than 10% of which are new. The result is a medium-bodied, slightly honeyed wine with notions of melon, tangerine and pineapple and a fresh, lime-zest finish.
