La Louvetrie comes from a plateau located at the top of the vineyard on sandy clay soils, amphibolites (green rocks) and on gneiss or quartz. The vines are from 15 to 30 years old. Harvesting is manual or mechanical if necessary. Sulfur is added at the end of the alcoholic fermentation to avoid malolactic fermentation. Citrus aromas abound and the wine is dry, fruity, refreshing and iodised. Drink ideally within two years of the vintage.
