Nicely aged Saint Emilion - a little tawny at the rim, but otherwise intense inkiness. Lovely herbaceous nose that is followed through as a lied motif underpinning the plummy cassis and slight baked earth on the palate. Some chocolate and a hint of tobacco in the finish. Drink up - this is perfectly poised.

Full bodied red. Aromas of wet forest and earth that gives way to plum and spice. Juicy black fruit, smooth tannin and finish. Well balanced. Really enjoyed one of my first right bank Bordeaux
