IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
Château Canteloup tastes more like wine from the Left Bank than the Right. Located across the Gironde River from Haut-Medoc, Saint-Estephe, Pauillac, and Saint-Julien, Canteloup is produced in Blaye, a region famous for its Merlot. However, Canteloup has all the tannin, acidity, and character of a Cab-dominant Medoc. Canteloup happens to be 90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Deep ruby red color that is marked by ripened and complex red fruits and hints of spice. Fat and fleshy feel on the palate. Aged in stainless tanks and oak barrels during 15 months.
