Syrah/Petite Sirah blend with a dash of Malvasia Bianca. Formerly from Buhl Memorial Vineyard in the Kansas Settlement of Cochise County, AZ. and now from our Eliphante block in Cornville, AZ. Côte Rôtie-style blend substituting Malvasia Bianca for Viognier. The Syrah takes the back seat, serving as the muscular structure to present the Apricot, Peach and Orange peel characters of the AZ Malvasia Bianca. 

A dry, full-bodied velvety red which, rather than leaping out of the glass, pulls you in… hints of red fruit, pepper, coffee, sandalwood and roast beef culminate in a lush, long aftertaste. We co-ferment this Coté Rotie-style blend when logistics allow.

The Syrah takes the back seat, serving as the muscular structure to present the aromatic Malvasia Bianca.
