This red is a well representative of a Chianti Classico. Smell captures all your attention given its multiple hints of little round red fruits and figs, very pleasant. Once in mouth you get a full plum taste that complements the experience. Paired with a delicate pasta with salmon, I got even an unexpected good harmony considering the difficulty to match a red wine with some fish. Cheers.
What a surprise. Brought from my visit to the region and was surprised by the aromas or red fruits and also by the cherry end. A true representative of a good Chianti. Dark ruby color; black fruit nose; 13.5% ABV. Ripe black cherries, chocolate, vanilla and orange zest notes. Dusty tannins. Long and savory finish. Paired well with sausage and beef lasagna. Yum.
