Big House Wine Co. Zinfandel Cardinal Zin 2013

Zinfandel is all about fruit and spice - red-fruit, black-fruit and everything nice, and we have been attempting to incrementally add elegance and refinement. We have found that by cleverly doing virtually nothing, (in an enlightened Taoist way , we have been able to preserve more fruit in our zin as well as more depth and complexity. What is significant about this wine is its solidity; this is a wine of substance, a densely packed chocolate cherry, with all sorts of complex surprises yet to unfold.

Medium ruby colour; smoky plum and black cherry notes with dried sweet herbs and spicy oak notes; ripe fruit core with berry fruit, dried herbs and vanilla flavours; medium-bodied and fruity.
