Vincent Red Table Wine NV

Vincent’s “Red Table Wine” is a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay Noir. This bottle expresses the characteristic brightness of each of the varieties, reflecting the qualities the grapes are often sought for—modest tannins, modest alcohol, and refreshing acidity. The wine undergoes a natural fermentation and is aged in neutral French oak barrels for about a year.

Gamay Noir is a variety that typically shows best without the influence of new oak, which would mask its relatively delicate fruit and floral aromas. Light- to medium-bodied and refreshing, like many of the wines in this month’s club, it’s wonderfully versatile at the table. Try it with roasted chicken or roasted vegetables as well as soft cheeses, which are often too delicate for other red wines.
